製作認真，有誠意，有風格，細膩細緻，演技、美術、配樂、剪接皆有水準，今年最好看的港片。 主角陳奕迅和林俊輝演得自然稱職外，配角也立體驚喜，包括演宏的外婆的邵音音、叉哥曾志偉、宏母李麗珍及殺手張國強。 當然本片不是完美之作，例如張老師的角色可有可無，發揮不多，刪掉更佳，集中說堆和宏的關係更好。林子祥的宏父角色描寫太少。有些情節則不合現實，如學校旅行迷路整晚沒警察搜尋，學校坑渠有鯉魚等。 但支持本地創作及新銳導演的話，此片值得一看。 片名取自日本知名導演黑澤明在1949年的作品─《野良犬》。 野良犬是荒野中良善的犬。 陳滿堆（陳奕迅飾）和林志宏（林俊輝飾）是野良犬。 陳滿堆是渾渾噩噩的古惑仔。父親不知所蹤，母親吊頸自盡，自小無人無物，無意中認識了黑道中人的叉哥（曾志偉飾），便跟了他。叉哥是他半個師傅半個老豆。自此陳滿堆的一切皆由叉哥安排。 林志宏與婆婆(邵音音飾)相依為命。父親也是不知所蹤，母親則是跳樓自殺。小時候媽媽常對宏說爸爸飛去了遠方，還向著一朵膠花說只要花開爸爸便會回來。六歲那年，他的媽媽從掛滿魚骨天線的天台往下一躍後，宏再沒有見過媽媽，他知道媽媽已飛去找爸爸了。自此，宏沒有再說過一句話。 陳滿堆和林志宏有着類似的背景：無父無母，父走母死，遭同學欺負。 而命運就安排了這兩個背景相同的人相遇。叉哥給堆任務：陳滿堆以校工身份混入林志宏就讀的小學，把老大仇家黑幫頭子鈕喬澤(林子祥飾)的兒子找出來。堆沒有想過會遇上兩個與他各不相干，但卻命運相連的人：宏與代課老師Miss張(林苑飾)。 他們三人有一些只有他們三人擁有的遭遇和時刻：學校旅行迷途，夜深遇見樹妖；三人合力搭建聖誕舞台。 很少港產片把一大一小的感情拍得細膩感人而不煽情，但本片做到了。 自堆和宏遇上，兩人逐漸建立一段像是父子的感情。堆本來就手巧，但他平時只是遊手好閒，而宏令他改變，把他的天賦發揮，憑藉他的巧手，利用廢物建造一個美麗，以遊樂場為主題的聖誕舞台。 而本來不說話的宏，也在聖誕晚會表演唱歌。 渾渾噩噩，一切交給叉哥作主的堆，終於可以無悔地自己做決定。 本來是孤獨的兩個人，命運安排，有緣遇上，人生上交接而成一個交叉點，經過碰撞，互相衝擊，漸漸對世界對自己都了解更多，更影響了大家的命運，點亮各自的生命。 So many nights, I...
